Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) printed a limited number of "Bats Can Have Rabies" posters (in English and Spanish) in 2012 for use in the United States for State Public Health Veterinarians during World Rabies Day. The most common source of human rabies cases in the U.S. is bats.
One Health is a movement to unite human and veterinary medicine; encouraging collaboration between scientists, physicians, veterinarians, nurses and other healthcare workers. Rabies affects both humans and animals, so when all sectors join forces, there is a much better chance of preventing the disease.
All the posters and flyers can be downloaded free from our education bank if you wish to print them yourself.
