Commemorations to Make Rabies History

The World Rabies Day initiative invites individuals and groups to commemorate persons, especially loved ones, who have died of rabies through the observation of 55 seconds of silence – one second for each 1,000 persons per year whose death from rabies could have been prevented.

Read personal stories submitted to us about how rabies has affected individuals throughout the world.

To submit a commemoration, please send your comments, and, if you like, a photo, to Peter Costa at !Please, turn on JavaScript or go to the contact us page!.  Images and a short summary of your submission will be posted on the World Rabies Day website in commemoration of your loss.
